Temporary closure of the Reading Room

From Monday 22 January 2024 to Thursday 1 February 2024, the Periodicals Reading Room will be temporary closed for technical reasons. Delivery of selected shelfmarks from the Library and Information Science Library may also be temporary limited.

During this time, services will be provided in alternative premises as follows:

Periodicals Reading Room (closed 22 January 2024 - 1 February 2024)

• newspapers and magazines stored in the Periodicals Reading Room will be available for study in the General Reading Room
• newspapers and magazines from the Periodicals Reading Room will be available to order in the General Reading Room
  - by e-mail sent to periodika@nkp.cz
  - by filling in the order form in the Main Hall (Information desk) or in the General Reading Room
• ordered periodicals will be ready for study in the General Reading Room within 30 minutes from placing order
• to have the requested item delivered on the day of the order, kindly place the request until 18:30 (Monday - Friday) or until 13:30 (Saturday)
