The Library of M. Abramowicz
The library of the Polish intellectual Marjan Abramowicz (1871–1925) includes mostly works from the turn of the 20th century dealing with Polish history (numerous works also concern Lithuania) as well as literary history and representatives of Polish literature. It is worth mentioning Abramowicz’s ex libris with the motif of a reindeer sleigh in the middle of the tundra in Siberia, evoking Abramowicz’s exile in Siberia, where he had been banished at the end of the 19th century for his revolutionary activities.
