Training sessions for Users
Dear Users,
you are invited to regular training sessions that will provide you with basic awareness of the National Library services and the NL Rules and Regulations.
The training sessions take place on working days at 9.30 a.m. as well as on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Meeting point is at the Information Desk in the Main Hall. The training sessions are held in Czech; you may arrange for a training session in another language (English, German, Russian, French) in advance.
You will get acquainted with selected provisions of the National Library Rules and Regulations, of the Rules of particular reading rooms as well as with the offer of the Library services. The sessions include hands-on presentation of the use of both electronic and card catalogues (searching, placing a request, user account transactions etc.), the use of the Kramerius Digital Library and other online sources. Subject matter of a session is not restricted to the issues given above, though, and you may arrange for a modification.
