The work of Lenka Jasanská is as diverse as the books she has illustrated. Merry stories by Miloš Kratochvíl, Swedish and Croation folk tales, or serious stories from the history of our country – each topic approached differently. Lenka Jasanská uses in her work, from the very beginning, her original profession of graphic designer to think about the book as a whole. Himalayan tales, in addition to "embroidered" illustrations, were given a special bond of five colored threads (in the colors of Tibetan prayer flags), the Jewish fairy Benefactor Baruch were decorated in a sober blue-black combination, and reportage fairy tales by Michaela Vetešková were illustrated in an informative nature style. The exhibition presents a selection of titles from recent years, intended for children readers. The books, illustrated by her, are regularly included in the catalogue of The Best Books for Children. She was nominated for the Golden Ribbon Award and the Himalayan Fairy Tales won the Golden Ribbon Award for Publishing Achievement.
