Free trial resources

The National Library offers free trial music resources until 7th November 2016:

RILM Abstracts of Music Literature with Full Text

• includes approximately one million pages of full-text content from more than 200 periodicals (many of which are not available anywhere else online), from 50 countries in 40 languages, published from the early 20th century to the present
• most coverage commences with the first issue of the journal and includes cover-to-cover full text for every included title
• in addition to scholarly articles and reviews, the database includes obituaries, editorials, correspondence, advertisements, news items, and more

RILM Music Encyclopedias.

• an ever-expanding full-text compilation of reference works, most of which are not available anywhere else online
• the collection currently includes more than 40 titles (published from 1775 to the present) and new content is added every year
• an extensive global resource designed to meet the research needs of the international musi community
